Studies show kids have greater influence than you might thought, even on adult purchases like cars and homes. Some companies (like Scion) market to a younger audience even though their real market audience is quite a bit older, as in the parents.
It's all techno to me. Nothing really has changed since the 1980's (hip-hop,techno,electronica. But everyone want to be the next thing just by giving it a new name.
2008 Sheikh Yerbouti says hello.
Michael Pachter eat your heart out.
Good thing for Sony sales outside the US don't count./s
Depends on the person. I'm finding most who like it only do so for its multiplayer, which to me isn't anything I'd appreciate. It is easy to invalidate another's opinion by calling them fanboys. But some may indeed enjoy the game. You might too if you tried it.
Still ain't worth $50, can't get around that tho.
@Seraphemz Fanboys never learn from history. Every generation, it is the same ignorance.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft's AC for the Vita is doing quite smashingly as far as sales and Plus on Vita should move Vitas as well this holiday.
Just buy good games.
You really can't blame Sony, when so many devs make great games on it - both first and third party. If they find it hard to develop, it is STILL their shortcoming when good PS3 games are out there.
If ActiVision obviously phones in a game with poor quality, they're the ones who should suffer. But as long as BO:D is in a bundle, Sony should be happy. Kids are stupid enough to buy crap; it's just their parents money.
I feel guilty. I'm butt-raping Sony for its games with PS Plus.
Same camp. Next gen it will be the same most likely, with Infamous and Uncharted. I know I need to play those games at the very least. If you want all the best action games, you need at some point buy a PlayStation.
I think I'll write myself a prescription! lol.
@Kinger.
After genuflecting, I sort of agree with you man. There's nothing wrong with it. The themes are positively awesome, especially the dynamic themes.
I have this Mexican "Day of the Dead", and about 20 other dynamic themes. I wouldn't want to lose those to an update.
Lost all my GTAV...*sniff*...still pisses me off.
I learned my lesson and make frequent back-ups. The cloud is great, but nothing's guarantee. Your back-up needs a back-up.
I like the update. Be cool if Sony changed theirs, just to be new.
lol...you hold on to every bit of that!
I want to check out the crossplay. Is it functional with PSASBR during beta?
Assassin's Creed Bloodlines on pSP was horrid. I wouldn't expect much more for the Vita version, but I am hoping.
Find my nose drawn to your avatar BTW/
I tell people this story about a bunch of CompSci majors derided me for having an Apple laptop. They actually said Apple wouldn't be around in 5 years. They gave insightful reasons, educated reasons too. Still it was obvious they were wrong. That was 1999.
Its amazing how uninformed people , out of their area of knowledge, will noversimplify facts and expect people to take them as authority. If Sony has a chance of outright shuttering the games division, any one of th...
Broke too huh, dude? Weekends are like that, bro. At least the good ones. S'okay though...the free games will be there when you subscribe again.
Personally I like YouTube on my TV. Anything I'd enjoy in 40", I'll occasionally watch on the browser videos or I'll look through pictures on Facebook. A dedicated app is much better than a browser (not much better tho).
Gaming is the motivation, but as a PS3 only owner, I'm glad XBox 360 has all this additional content. It's partly why I now have it.
I heartily recommend the XBox 360 to anyone who already has the PS3. It just gives you more options if not necessarily games. (It does that too!) You can buy the 360 version if you have to play Skyrim and still have Kratos in your Mortal Kombat.
